| Crud. I also fired the trigger, but missed the part about upgrading the memory. I only got the (stock) 667MHz DIMMs for an order total of $581.94 including tax and shipping.
It will be interesting to note what if any PPD difference there will be between the two otherwise identical systems.

| I called Dell, and was told it is not possible to change an order, only cancel and start over. I'll leave it alone.
If it turns out there is a huge difference, I'll upgrade the memory.

| I doubt it will be huge and I suspect it won't make a difference on all WUs. I wouldn't be suprised if memory speed becomes more important with WUs in the future, however.
In any case, I don't think it is important enough to worry over, especially since they won't let you change the order.
