Ok gang,

Here's the start of the information.... More details are going to be added as we get them.
Is this going to be the official site now ? Will there be any details or links being posted such as convenient rendevous/parking areas? I haven't been to Ottawa in 30 years, and that was only passing thru.

This will indeed be the rally portal... As details are made available updates will be posted...

it's fixed now. but it may take a bit for the TTL to reset. might try clearing dns cache to see if upstream dns has the new records. no more then 1 hour usually.

Parking? Ottawa?

Paid parking (expect to pay anywhere from 5-20$). Closer to Parliment the more expensive.

Meters (if you can find one)

Is it possible to make it or part of it as a wiki page so that people can update some of the info?

I can see rides, parking info, bus info, maps, where to meet etc useful to people outside of Ottawa.

The site should now work just about everywhere....

»netneutralityrally.ca

Please refresh your screens if not... (may have to flush the DNS in some cases).

looks like some important people will attend this rally, I really hope we can get enough people to attend instead of just people from ottawa, it wouldn't look good to have so few people.

my lowly unworthy comment on the web site:

You have no directions from Montreal, only Ontario. Poor Quebec always left out.

The most important thing to co-ordinate for any rally or protest is transportation. Whether it be buses, car pools, etc, you need some kind of co-ordination of transportation. I would suggest putting together a message board for this specifically. Ignore this, and the reality is that you will have far less people participate....

I would suggest looking at »code.google.com/apis/maps/ . That way you can put it right in the page, offer links for some big cities or let people type in their own address. There are also some wrappers that make it easier to use.

I suggest taking public transportation but depends on the situation..
