Well, I don't steal, but this is why I don't buy music from DRM-ed sources. I buy my music either in CD form (so I can rip it to non-DRM-ed MP3s), or in non-DRM-ed MP3 forms (usually from Amie Street, though I've looked at eMusic and Amazon's offerings).

I just rip to my laptop with no Internet Connection therefore no DRM. No software required. Have yet to see any CD I own, refuse to buy new just at used CD places, have DRM without an Internet Connection.
