| DirecTV is guilty The reason you know that Newscorp is guilty is because of they way they illegally hid and sent the payments to him. If the "project to reverse engineer" was on the up and up, it would all be above board, not some secret project where you illegally ship money out of the USA hidden inside consumer electronics, which in itself is also a crime.
This smells dirty, and they've gotten caught. Problem is, they probably will get away with it....
