Does anyone know when u-verse will be available in Canoga Park, CA. Is there a map showing their future roll-outs and time frames? |

| It is going now in Canoga/West Hills/Woodland Hills. There are a dozen or so Vrads live currently. The first one fired up in December. I work in Canoga Park, if u give me your closest cross street, ill check on it for you. Be specific please as one side of the street may be served by a different Vrad. |

| reply to abates2k Ok, your probably out of the VRAD next to the 7-eleven shopping center on the corner there. DWP just ran power to that VRAD about 2-3 weeks ago. I was just there a few days ago and didnt see any Uverse circuits yet. But it should be anytime now. They probably waiting on the engineering office to release it. I will keep you posted when it goes live. |

| I post this in the AT&T Direct forum and thought I would post it here also.
U-Verse and existing 3rd party DSL
I attempted to order U-Verse and was told since I already have DSL service through a 3rd party provider, AT&T can not place the order. I have 2 seperate CO lines. One has DSL and one does not. I also have a dry loop with ADSL2+ with Covad as the provider. I already planned on cancelling the shared line DSL on one of CO lines but do I need to cancel my dry loop service also? Also since I have a line with no dsl service installed, why can't this line be used for U-Verse? I work from home and I can not afford to be without internet access for an extended amount of time. Has anyone had issues with ordering U-verse with 3rd party dsl already in place? |

| Uverse gets assigned to the line that has the Uverse provisioned pair. Its already like that in the records. Im not exactly sure how it is handled if there is no primary pair or its on a different number. Its probably handled on a case by case basis when the order is issued. Also, it would make sense that having 3rd party DSL would throw a wrench in the works, as AT&T cannot migrate other ISP's data service into the VRAD. |

| I was able to cancel my 3rd party dsl on my primary line and order shared line dsl from AT&T on my second line. Doing so allowed me to place an order for U-verse over the phone without having to wait for my primary line to clear. Since I went ahead an ordered dsl on my second line, they were willing to work with me and placed the order and gave me an install date. I'm only keeping the shared line dsl for a few days and it will be switch over to U-verse during the install. Since I work from home, I could not afford any down time so the shared line dsl was a must. Also if my install is delayed, I still have an internet connection. |

| I work from home as well, and have 3rd party DSL (works well). Since I purchased an OTA HD converter, and can pick up 26 OTA HD (probably at least a couple more should be available if I pick up a 'real' antenna). With this many 'free' local channels in digital HD, I have no incentive to purchase service from TW, AT&T, Dish or DTV. -- Canada = Hollywood North |

| I'm sure one of them was mine. My installation was yesterday and everything is working fine. Fastest internet connection I've ever had. |

| That was me. I didn't think U-verse was so close to being turned up in my area until you mentioned it. You saved me from a 2 year long contract that really wasn't worth it. The new drop you brought in saved the U-verse tech a lot of work also. My install only took an hour. Thanks. |

| I am always browsing the pending Uverse installs to see which neighborhoods are going live. They posted a list of which Vrads are live about 3 weeks ago, but its outdated in a few days. Grads in the install. I kinda have gotten the hang of the process of guestimating when they should be live. Once i see the subcontractors working the the ducting for power, DWP is not far behind. Once they get power its about1-2 weeks usually when they are ready. |

| Hi cfm - you seem to be the guy who knows all on the Vrad installation and go live dates.
I noticed the box down the street from my house got power last week and the box across the street has a lot of activity but no power. Wonder which one serves my place.
I live at Shoup/Sherm on the SW corner. The box with power is on the south side of Sherman west of Shoup (It's silver...because it used to be tan tagged with pink). The box with no power is on the west side of Shoup north of Sherman.
Are the new installs in the SFV starting with 2HD/2SD now that it's been rolled out? |

| If you live in the neighborhood down Asman or Sale, your fed by the Vrad that is painted silver. If you live in the apartments on the west side of Shoup going south from Sherman Way you are out of the Vrad on the NW corner. There was a delay on the VRAD on the NW corner because it had to be moved once, after it was installed the first time. I think it put a small snafu in things but it is ready to receive power now. Waiting on DWP. Ill ask the Uverse guys next door about 2HD/2SD. Ill be gone till Monday so it will be after then. |
