"If the CRTC decides to force Bell Canada to quit bandwidth throttling, that would counter a 1999 CRTC decision stating it would not impose regulations on Canadian Internet businesses."

Good article except for the above mistake. This has nothing to do with the Internet. The wholesale tarrif is a regulated service which can carry any data and not just IP packets.

Wow I was just going to post the exact same reply as you just did.

I couldn't believe it when I read this, it has nothing to do with it.

Sadly this is how the media sees it though. Very little media is knowledgeable to know what the real issue is.
