Langhorne, PA | I'm getting a Samsung LCD this weekend. Both Samsung and Verizon told me the same thing - use component cables. They both also said that there is no difference in picture quality. Verizon said that the same issue exists with Sony Bravia too. |

| I got Bravia (KDL46W3000) last week and I have no issues. I use HDMI cables. |

Check for a firmware update at the support area for your Samsung model. I just updated my 5689s from 1011 to 1019.
Be sure to read & follow the upgrade instructions, you may want to record your user settings for brightness, color, hue, contrast. |

| Yeah, I tried that route with Samsung as well. They advised me there were no firmware updates available for my model... sigh.... |
