I'm getting a Samsung LCD this weekend. Both Samsung and Verizon told me the same thing - use component cables. They both also said that there is no difference in picture quality. Verizon said that the same issue exists with Sony Bravia too.

Wesley Chapel, FL		 I got Bravia (KDL46W3000) last week and I have no issues. I use HDMI cables.
