chile | I`ve seen an Iphone in action and I`m sold too !
And just 2 months ago, 3 major (the only ones  ) cellphone companies lighted up my city with full 3G coverage. I have a neighbord who has 3G in his laptop (usb modem) and it works just like my cable modem connection , not a single issue with the service and he can use anywhere in the country.
I`d get an Iphone 3G probably a few months after it`s released (after the second or third price drop , that`s for sure)
All the major cities in Chile now have full 3G coverage, and even small towns in the middle of nowhere now have 3G coverage too.
They have 3 tiers, 200kbps $30 dollars x month , 400 kbps $40 dollars x month and 700 kbps 60 dollars x month. (unlimited service)
It can be used with the cellphone as a modem or with a usb 3G modem. For now I`m sticking to my 2mbps cable modem service cause I have triple play with them and It cost me less than the 3g service is in my area. |
