 VPN with Cisco 678 Modem/Router

Hi all,

I'm trying to open up a VPN and it works from our internal network, but I cannot access it from outside the network.

This is on a NT 4 Server machine. The client has XP Pro. I've forwarded port 1723 tcp from the router to the server and it attempts to verify the username/password, but then after about 30 secs, it comes back and says the computer did not respond with error 722.

Considering the model of the router, can I still do this?

Thanks very much!
JB
