| If you really want to save money, it is best to keep switiching from DSL to Cable, and back.
Comcast and BellSout both will pay you about $100 each time you switch, and also half price for six months on top of that.
You will have to stay for a year each time you switch. |

1 edit | reply to Oleg I called to cancel last week and they offered to pay my bill. I had already paid it so then they offered to cut a measly $5 off the next 6 months.
In the past, when they only had 1.5, they offered me half price for 6 months.
I'm gotta stay with them about another week so I can get my $125 "cut the cable" rebate check but then it's bye bye if they don't get their shit together by then.
@CharlesFlorida - I've never seen Comcast offer $100 for a switch (they offer 6 months at 19.99 but you have to have basic basic cable at a minimum) . If that is one of the companies you are referring too can you give me a bit more info? That's who I plan on switching too pretty soon. |

| reply to Oleg Y'all fellows sure are cheap. Not graysonf or khc987.
Always scheming a scamming.
Why don't you fellows just find an ISP that offers a level of service that makes you happy and stick with it?
Find one that offers the speed, relieablity, and features that you want and stick with them.
AT&T Southeast offers some excellent bundles combining landline phone service, cellular phone service, Internet service, and satillite television service for a very attractive price and in the furture will probably have some nice bundles with their new U-verse service. |

I could write a book going back to the 28.8K days detailing all the incompetence I have had to deal with Bellsouth, Adelphia, Comcast, and the "new" AT&T. |

| That statement is hogwash,,my brother has been with comcast for 5 years and never had an outage with Dns servers as we had earlier this year. Plus to get the same if not better d/l--u/l speeds for the first 6 months at 19.95$ sold me. Stay with DSL if you want even with naked dsl at at&T the savings will never match Cable. |

Check out comcastoffers.com. I do believe that you will need to also have video service from them as well. |
