yurk a correction:
Call forwarding will ring your original CDV phone number with a half ring, to signify that Call Forwarding has been implemented.
I think you are correct if you are assuming that you can't "pick up" that call from your primary phone. -- They may forget what you said but they will never forget how you made them feel.-- Anonymous |

1 edit | reply to ratter 1. You can recieve email alerts for new VM, unsure if this is included as an attachment or a link.
see »www.comcast.net/digitalvoice
2. No. Call forwarding will just forward your call to whatever number you input.
As stated below you will get a 'phantom ring' to your CDV line when call forwarding is enabled. |

| Sorry, tried searching but haven't come up with concrete answers so far. I'm considering switching to CDV from ATT Callvantage but I want to make sure that two very important features are available with CDV. The sales rep couldn't (wouldn't?) tell me....
1. Can I configure CDV to automatically email all incoming voicemails to me, with the actual audio of the voicemail as an attachment?
2. Does the call-forwarding have a ring-at-once option? In other words, can an incoming phone call ring both my CDV line and the forwarded line (say, my cell) simultaneously and allow me to pickup from either?
Thanks in advance! |
