Watch Recording Shortcut

So, maybe I am the only one who did not know this, but when you are looking at your recorded programs you don't have to press OK and then select Play from the menu, you can simply press the Play button on your remote when you have the show you want to watch highlighted.

Thanks kes601 for the tip. That is really helpful.

Another one I found is that when you're in the guide listings and you want to NOT record a program you've already scheduled to record, all you have to do is hit the Stop button on your remote when you're at the program in the list and it deletes the Record designation.

I bet there are more of these that we just haven't found yet. Like Easter eggs.

Thanks for the postings guys. Add me to the list of those who had no idea about either of those functions. Wow, maybe I should check the guide that came with the IMG... oh, wait In all honesty, Verizon needs to put a guide out there on this s/w. I'll bet there's alot there that we don't know about.

Another thing I use quite often is: While watching a recorded show I hit the Fios TV button to stop playing. This returns me to Live TV instead of the DVR screen , since I`m not ready to delete yet.

I`m sure most of you knew that when using the Buffer, pressing the Fios TV button brings you to Live TV.
