Re: Low cost ultra-portables are coming on gangbusters I'm on one of those ultraportables right now. The Asus (2G Surf model). Machine gets a little warm, other then that, it's perfect, although I heavily modified. (Basically using a Class 6 SD-Card as the 2nd partition in the "UnionFS") Linux, no crashes, so that part is good, add lots of repositories (DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST!!!) and have everything I need with still lots of room left on my card. Perfect.
