|  [Palm] grocery bar code scanner software
i was look ing for barcode scanner that i could download to my pda. this way when shopping i could scan items and have a running total and dowload into excel to track what each item cost. is this possibble??

| unless you can connect to the stores wireless network that the normal scanners use, and update using their same software, and ofcourse have a login, or know a login of a employee, and then you'll need to modify the software to do what you want it to do

| you've probably already thought of it, but why not use the palm's calculator and manually enter numbers? you could even set up a spreadsheet to factor in taxes.
