Griffith Observatory |
I have lived in So. Cal nearly all my life and I just got around to visiting Griffith Observatory (as far as I remember). We took the trip Thursday and now I wish I had seen it before the renovation. The Telescope is impressive considering when it was made and the planetarium show was out of this world (pun intended) . Unfortunately we did not get into the dome before dark to get any pictures of the telescope.. |

I may need to make a trip south again, just for this! |

Thanks all, I was quite surprised at how the images came out. Next time I will have to bring a tripod so I don't need to use a hand rail or a traffic cone to help stabilize the camera. It has been in a number of movies but only one portrayed it for what it was. This may be the reason for the James Dean statue. |
