Investors "This country is in a recession. People are going to be calling in to cut back on their services to save on money for more important things like food and rent. We need to do something to make sure that we keep our profit margins up."
Executives "We could charge customers a fee for talking to a human being."
Investors "Brilliant! You'll definitely get your annual bonuses."
