| Why not try what alfnoid  showed us in this post, except you would want to use a pertinent address in Monroe, MI.
I have 8800/2200 here and I had been wondering if Blast was available, but only if requested. I checked via alfnoid 's link and found Blast was not listed there, while it indeed was for the address he gave in River Rouge, MI.

Blast is available in Roseville, I called and had them switch me over from the 8 meg speed tier. It took a few phone calls but now I have it. When I first had them switch me over I didn't notice any difference so I downloaded DHCPForce and notice that I had this config _speedtier_c01.cm = (8/768) [Performance Plus]" file in my modem after another call to Comcast with a good tech he got me the proper config file "_speedtierextreme2_c01.cm = (16/2) [Blast 2]" in the modem, download speeds of large files confirm this. |
