I use windows XP, and those are pretty much the settings I'm using (set the MTU 1500 on my router too) and its set for 8000mbps as my service advertises.
My PC is pretty up to date/fast, no spyware I can find (using hijackthis checking with spybotsearch n destroy, adaware, super antispyware) amd E6850 3Ghz @ 3.8Ghz 2GB DDR2 800mhz ram at 916Mhz, system runs cool, error free.
Its jsut annoying that after like 1-2 hours of internet usage, any and all internet pages (not gaming) will start to.. run like its only loading half a page.
Like I can load the MSN page and maybe 1-2 pics will load, I'd have to go over each pic and do "load pic" and it would showup instantly, otherwise I just see red X's everywhere. After maybe 5-15min the problem goes away for another 1-2 hours and repeats ;/ Everyday any time of day |
