| new dslextreme svc disconnected (by verizon?)
I helped my daughter sign up with dslextreme a few weeks ago and she was happy with the dslextreme svc for 2 weeks.
and on 4/22 she called verizon to disco the old verizon dsl service. on 4/24 her phone went dead but the dslextreme svc was still working.
she disconnected the dslextreme modem and the verizon phone svc began working again but the dslextreme service disco'd and never came back on.
from the looks of it, verizon disconnected her dslextreme service
can you folks check onthis and see if verizon disconnected her dslextreme circuit in error?

It is almost 100% certain that Verizon has disconnected the DSL line do to the loss of dial-tone. Unfortunately this happens almost any time any customer looses dial-tone with the telco. Our ordering department will need to submit a disconnect/reconnect on the line. Once I get the account info I will start a ticket to make sure the DSL gets repaired as soon as possible. |
