free wifi at small coffee shops

almost all the "little coffee shops" offer wireless for free. So does Panera Breads which is one of Starbucks' competitors.

When I'm looking for a wifi connection, I typically pull up google maps on my Treo, and search for "coffee shop" in my area. I think I've gotten free wifi every time for months.

Ugh not a fan of free wi-fi. Starbucks is ALREADY over crowded... now with free wifi it'll be impossible to get a chair let alone an outlet. I'd rather pay!
