ya sounds like a signal/ingress (interference) problem. try getting the box off the 1st or 2nd splitter if possible. you might also want to try 'barreling' the line from the main line to the box. to do that just get an f-81 barrel (like from a wall plate) and make it go from the main inline feed to the box without any splits. also it cant hurt to go outside and look at the pole to see if mabey you were padded with a filter at the pole, in which case you must call the cable co. the diag screen you posted should have a valid IP address and say 'running' under state usually wait so ack is a signal prob. btw im a cable guy There are no splitters.I have one TV.The mainline from outside goes directly into the cable box.Another line from the box to the VCR.And another line from the VCR to the TV.Ive tried running the the TV with just the cable box and no VCR.Still having problems with OnDemand. |
