| I am also excited about the new HD channels. Everyday since the announcement i have been rebooting my box in hopes of getting the new channels. I just hope that there wont be any delays and that we'll get them on the 30th and not 2 weeks later or something. |

I wouldn't surprise that they will put 3 channels in one QAM.These people are always behind schedule and I am really pissed off about that. 5 to 7 years ago we knew that the future of tv was HD and these cable companies didn't decide to do anything about upgrading their cable lines. Now they are doing something good of droping analog, but at the same time they need to roll SDV like they did in san antonio and albany. |

We had a 12-18 hour outage Monday evening through Tuesday, maybe around noontime. We didn't seem to have any new channels when service was restored but we do have them now. |

Wow im disappointed in the lack of HD content in the channels they added.
CNN HD is only HD for the morning news and the afternoon news.
NY1 HD at this point is a joke. The channel is currently being broadcasted in what looks like very low quality 480i with bars on the side.
ABC Family HD - Whats the point? i have yet to see any HD content shown on this channel...not even a HD commerial.
Food Network HD is just up converting content so it looks more like dvd quality than hd.
A&E HD more upconverted content
Weather Channel HD At this point only weather on the 8's is in HD...but its for all of the USA...not just new york.
Lifetime Movies HD seems to be broadcasted completely in HD at 1080i
Discovery HD Completely HD, great picture quality.
HGTV HD another upconverted channel.
Fox Business News HD great quality
M HD ??? does anyone watch this channel?
History Channel HD more upconverted.
With the exception of Discovery HD, these new channels offer nothing in terms of watchable HD quality content. |

| Yikes! Maybe TWC should have waited until everything was available in HD before firing up your extra HD channels!
I've got a half-full perspective here. All those channels are now HD-capable, and even if everything is not in HD 24/7, as you point out, lots of it is. And more as time goes by! |
