| Modem Management Console (Thomson Speedtouch)
Hey Everyone!
I noticed that the OEM speedtouch modems all have easily accessible management consoles. Telus of course likes to restrict us from doing almost anything. How about's would I get into this console? Either through HTTP or TELNET. I have tried flashing it with the OEM firmware, but it asks me for a username and password which I do not know (This would be just as good I suppose).
Thanks,

| If you have flashed the unit with a generic OEM firmware, then the default username is Administrator, and the default password is blank. If you haven't flashed yet or it didn't work - nobody in the public knows telus' password for the unit. If you're having trouble flashing, you can PM me and I'll send you a guide and flashing pack.
Once you have access, get version 7.xx of DMT (»dmt.mhilfe.de/) to get easy and sensible access to a lot of the modem's telnet functionality. |

Guess there was no point in repeating it all in the Telus Forum for obvious reasons... |
