| The Takeover is Awful I'm gonna go with DirecTV, this has been the week from hell.
The internet and phone was down for over a day, the HD Signal must not be as good because the picture isn't nearly as sharp.
If Fios was available here I'd have it, but for now its DirecTV all the way! |

Hillsborough, NJ | I haven't experienced any problems. If anything, speeds on Internet are higher. My digital cable is the same, but I don't HD.
BTW, Comcast has setup the email accounts and they work!

The takeover is horrible. Comcast without notice or advertising in the newspaper, as required by NJBPU, dropped
channel 610 on April 17. For no good reason. Comcast does
have a carriage agreement for GameHD (channel 610). Whatever
happened to the customer is always right?
There is no local sports schedule anywhere?

FWIW, I dropped FiOS TV for DirecTV. Much more HD, better DVRs and I'm saving a few bucks a month in the process.
Can't help you with internet. FiOS is simply head and shoulders above anything else. |

| I also have a problem where the internet is half the speed promised. I'm getting 10mbs download, when i used to be getting 20-30 with the high end patriot media plan. |

I have to agree this is the worst i have ever experienced. I do noticed alot more pixelation on HD channels, and the lineup is going to change again next week i think the 15th. So i am preparing myself for more problems. Too bad service electric cant compete in other parts of somerset county. |
