I used Dr TCP with Vista - problems

I used Dr TCP and set the tcp receive window size (before I read that its not recommended to do this in Vista) and now my download speeds are sometimes below 100k/s on a 3MB connection. I have run system restore, and it didn't fix anything. What can I do?

Thanks for any replies.

The Doctor did not break anything as there are no registry keys in Vista for it to change.

Your problem lies elsewhere.

As Irish Shark See Profile stated, using DrTCP will have no effect on Vista.

However, You CAN try Changing Vista's Auto Tuning Level setting, and see if that helps (or not)... See Here for more info: »www.mydigitallife.info/2007/12/1···ormance/
As Always, YMMV...
