Cisco VPN no longer works after Patriot/Comcast Switchover

I guess the Comcast take-over of Patriot was finally completed. The Cisco VPN in two of my customers laptops, who live in the same neighborhood, and had the same cable company, stopped working about five days ago. The Cisco error is the result of routing problems. I tried to call Comcast and the Tier 1 person doesn't even understand what I am talking about and refuses to believe it is Comcast's fault. Does anyone have a suggestion or experienced this before?

Are you using the Cisco software VPN client? If so and you have Transparent tunneling enabled you may need to switch the IPSec protocol to UDP or TCP depending on what it's set for now.

From the VPN client select the modify tab --> transport then you should see your options. Hope this helps.
