It works like a champ, although I haven't checked to see if it survives a reboot yet either. Thank you very much for taking to time to fish through the manual. I hadn't thought about the possibility that there was a setting that controlled how the router decided to use the VPN tunnels for its own traffic. Much obliged. mudtoe
