The qualification tool looks at several factors to determine the speed available. Your line only qualifies for 1.5, but if the tool is showing that your address qualifies for 3M then then you could add a 2nd line or a standalone dsl line that would get provisioned at 3M. If your apartment is wired for 2 lines then I would setup your service on a seperate bill and then disconnect the other account. If you want to try it let me know.
Disconnecting and reconnecting won't do anything for you since they would still be using the same pair to get you service. |
