[GA] Outages in Valdosta

There have been numerous outages here in Valdosta recently. They usually affect all of the channels over 100. Here is an explanation from Traci Sapp in the Valdosta office:

Mr Snow.
Currently we are having some issues with outages. It is affecting a large
area of Georgia. In addition we are working on changing the system over for
the new Digital Broadcasting Launch set to take affect in February of 2009.
If I could get your account information, I would be happy to check your
account.

Thats bullshit...

mediacom doesnt have to do anything to comply with the digital changeover in feb 2009 unless they are still getting locals off air...

that is unless they are changing their own network at the same time.

What if the locals no longer distribute content via analog? Mediacom will be required to convert the locals from digital to analog thanks to the FCC ruling.

If only wishing upon a star would make Mediacom compress HD signals then add new HD channels.
