I was just getting used to the rb333, it practically just came out!
There has been a lot of churn in Mikrotik hardware since the X86-based RB200 in 2003.

By contrast, the original X86-based PC Engines WRAP boards finally went away after AMD discontinued the chip. I think those may be the only boards that could run the most firmware options - Mikrotik, Wili, Ikarus, Star-OS, etc. I hope the new faster ALIX X86 boards (which have same footprint option as WRAP) will also be tested by all firmware vendors.

I have a new alix 500mhz board sitting on my desk here, nice with 2 PCI slots, ran mikrotik just fine, but I tried with 2 different mini pci radio cards and it fell flat on its face once you enabled them (power problems). I learned afterwards this is a well documented problem
