$200 is a much more palatable price and more in line with what the general populace is willing to pay I bet. The iPhone is not worth $399 or $499, no phone is. |

Makes me was to just smack all of those people in the face. |

anyhoo, nice to see the price of iphone coming down to something more sensible, atleast for what its worth, maybe! |

But apparently not enough if ATT is willing to subsidize these phones. -- "What makes us omniscient? | reply to crippy Well the nokia n82 and n95 take true 30 FPS video quality that is crisp as hell. It has a nice built in full feature camera, etc. That phone is pretty amazing compared to the trash heap known as the IPhone. Apple seems to be able to put anything out, slap their name on it, and sell it in record numbers. It's good for them of course. However, I think too many people are caught into the name brand mania, versus the actual worth of the phone. My opinion. |

There is a faithful contingent of Mac users who will buy anything Apple craps out, at any price. Then you have the spoiled brat kids (and some business folks) who have to have the latest, most expensive gadget to show off.
Take a look here:

The iPhone is doing well, but it is not doing as well as most of the Apple faithful would have you believe. 4 million total sales worldwide is very respectable, but hardly ground breaking or earth shattering. In two years the Moto Razr sold over 50 million units worldwide way back in 2006: »www.motorola.com/mediacenter/new···_6980_23 and the original Startac sold over 75 million unit worldwide during its life.
The true test will come with HSDPA, real Exchange server support, and the $200 price from AT&T. |

I wonder how this will affect the pricing of other yet-to-be-released high-end phones, such as the Nokia N95? There's a lot of them available already on eBay, and surely many more to come. |
