Thats a good sign, but in the end, its up to the provider to run the fiber, terminate the ends, and provide the service. Until that time, other methods of bringing broadband to the home will have to be used.

I have to admit though, this guy is a visionary. I would love to get Fiber connectivity as would 99% of the BBR community.
