Well you're one of those lucky people.I'm 7800' from the CO and on a good day at a non peak time I'm lucky if I get 2Mbps/700Kbps.I've contacted cavtel support plenty of times,and even rewired the in house wiring.Still no increase in speed.It's better than what I was orginally getting which was around 700Kbps/500Kbps,several calls to Cavtel, the last being me threatening to cancel my service actually resulted in a jump in speeds ,up to what I get now.
Still I decided to get Comcast HSI which while slightly more expensive puts Cavtel's DSL service to shame. |
