I'd try to set the Ethernet speed and duplex on both the modem and the G2000 ie not use auto sensing.

Thanks for the tip!

I can't find any way to access the duplex settings on the G2000+ - I tried the GUI and telnet interface. There doesn't seem to be any CLI either.

The modem is similarly set up, RR owns it - maybe I can call them and see if they can provide me with their settings.
