Hayward : Uhhh letterbox is FULL SCREEN... what you really mean is you want it in butchered 1/3 of content cropped/lost, often with motion sickness inducing pan and scan?

With the huge TV's most seem to have these days, I really don't understand the remaining dislike of letterbox. Sure on a 13-21" inch sets of old maybe.

Funny no one demands 4:3 only when they go to the movie theater.... its the same screen... the various formats are shown on, maybe sometimes curtain masked, in old non plex theaters, but they don't put in a new screen/move the walls, for each format.
--
»haywardm.com (Hayward's Key West)
