| I still hate it If Valve could have used Steam to just deliver their games it would be fine. Instead they decided it would be the microsoft office of gaming and would do everything from monitor your activity and authenticate your software to failing to work when you try to use what you bought. I have run into my share of annoying limitations imposed by Valve which range from being force fed in game ads to having my games crippled because I didnt set my client to offline mode when still online. Every new feature they add requires multiple updates and causes random disconnects and client restarts. I bought HL2 at the store, but Im still shackled to this ridiculous "system of control".
I would happily pay more for a game if this is the alternative |
