Can you try gracefully closing the program so that it properly terminates your connection? From there use the command prompt to test the connection. telnet news.dslextreme.com 119 AUTHINFO USER yourusername@dslextreme.com AUTHINFO PASS yourpassword After you have successfully opened one connection, open another command window and repeat the same steps.
