Now i just use my shitty connection in peace, leaving embarq alone.  nothing ever truly fixed the problem ]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/1228562"><b>jaycharles</b></A> : Here's something interesting...<br><br>Most days, I get ping times of around 90ms from my Embarq business DSL line in Charlottesville VA to my server in ThePlanet's datacenter in Houston TX. Today BNSI.net (a local reseller of Embarq DSL services) had a switch go down, and all of their customers lost  their service.<br><br>Oddly enough, when the BNSI switch went down, my ping times to my server dropped to 62ms, and my average download speed increased by about 500kbps. That makes me wonder... does the reseller service Embarq provides to third parties affect my service (which I buy directly from Embarq) by so much, or is this mere coincidence?]]></description>
