i do it with RivaTuner. i upped the base fan speefd from 28% to 60% b/c i hear no audible difference b/w the 2. i also have it set to jump to 100% at 60 C, which is basically 20 mins of gaming on my 8800GT that i reseated with ASC.
I only use Riva for fan RPM profiles, and a little over clocking. great idea but i'll stick with RivaTuner which probably does more.

great app for beginners or those nvidia owners that want a really simple OC app.
