From my understanding, yes, they will drop the entire line from your account. I did the same thing last year and I just ordered a 2nd pair to the house with dsl only and when that was up and running, ported over the number from the first line and all was well with no down time. And I went from qualifying for only 1.5 to 3meg now so it turned out even better for me.
