| W.O.W. Remote Control
Does anyone else ever have trouble with there W.O.W. remote control ? I have mine set up to turn on the cable box and TV together at once by hitting the red power button. However, half the time it only turns on the box or TV alone. Then once I try and turn on the other device, it turns off the opposite one, then I have to keep going back and forth until I get them both to work.
Is there an easier way to get this thing to work properly ? My Wife has had continuous problems and I'm getting tired of explaining how to fix it. |

| If they ever get mixed up, I hit the "TV" button, then hit the power button to turn just the TV on or off. After they are both on or both off just make sure you press the "CBL" button and you're back on track.
It seems, at least to me, there is a 1 sec delay between the cable box turning on and then the TV, when I hit the power button. So if you move or put down the remote immediately after hitting the power button it sometimes won't turn the TV on, thats how it always got mixed up for me. |

| reply to sml1771 Personally, mine has about a 2 second pause in between devices for both on and off. The biggest problem I see if that the user needs to hold it pointing towards the devices for long enough. Also, the IR Receiver on the SA Boxes seem exceptionally picky in its allowable alignment. |

| reply to sml1771 Make sure your T.V. isn't connected to the AC outlet on the cable converter. This will cause the delay in power commands from box on and T.V. on. If you are using an independent outlet for the T.V., then try just reprogramming the remote from scratch. |
