There are 128 ounces (4 32 oz. quarts) in a US gallon.
so if you are using 8oz tea bags, you would need 16 bags

| If the end result is to be iced tea, I'll use like 20 in a quart of water, then use it as concentrate... much less fridge space taken up.
Also ICE TEA needs to be made stronger as the melting ice dilutes it in short order if you don't just gulp it down
