I love this part: "They advise anyone who receives such an e-mail to delete it without opening it." Now how can one be sure it is "such an e-mail" without opening it?

We are now seeing phishing attempts (a few were successful) at our campus. The aim appears to be to get a student authentication credentials, and use those to send spam via a server that requires authentication. I have seen evidence of 4 such spam runs.
