Did something with East Coast monitoring change?

As BLUNTED 1 See Profile pointed out in the OOL forum, it seems that all line monitors set up by Optimum Online have seen a substantial increase in latency (from ~10 ms to ~40 ms) starting last Thursday. Was there some sort of change with routing between the monitor and OOL customers? Actually, there is someone among those monitors with Bway.net, and that also shows the spike.. Verizon doesnt seem to show it..
