Re: nasty bug with moto lately

The issue is you are trying to record a show your DVR was going to record anyway. This happens to me with some shows. If the show is repeated later that same night, such as Monk or Psych on USA HD at 9pm and 1am the next day both show as new. Your DVR was going to record that next non-network show anyway as they both show new. I've noticed USA HD and some other non-network channels only mark their shows repeats after the first week of airing. Then the DVR won't record other episodes. Next time just try letting the DVR do its thing and see if it records the non-network show after missing it due to conflicts.

i understand what you are saying and i will try it out this next week. but it makes no sense that the dvr acts this way. if anything, what it USED to do in this situation was record the 2nd airing on 2 tuners. (this used to happen to me until about 3 weeks ago when is suddenly wouldnt record it at all when i scheduled the 2nd airing). i would end up with the dvr recording american chopper on both tuners and both would show up in my recordings.
thanks though for you r advice ill give it a shot next week.
