| Short and quick question.
I rolled an alt in a PvP server. In a PvP server what is the meaning of the pvp flag? Isnt everyone supposed to be flagged by default? -- "The physicists defer only to mathematicians, and the mathematicians defer only to God ..." |

@saic.com | You will not be auto flagged in your "home" territories, such as the capital cities and the newb areas.
As soon as you step into "Contested" or "Enemy" territory, you will be autoflagged and become fair game. |

| reply to LuisRodg yeah, everyone is flagged by default.
*UNLESS* you are in a green zone. Then you have to flag to be attacked. If you attack someone you flag, it takes x mins to unflag, all those other rules apply in a green zone. -- never apoligize for being who you are, and never respect anyone that says you should. |

| reply to LuisRodg Lowbie areas aren't contested, therefore, you won't be automatically flagged. You can still flag yourself, though, by typing /pvp in those areas. Also, if you're of the other faction (Ally going to The Barrens) then the Ally will automatically be flagged but Horde won't unless they attack or type /pvp.
All other areas are free for all pvp. |
