Canada | Release/renew IP
So my Siemens SE567 is complete crap right now (see »Siemens 567 self destruct?. I'm trying to release and renew my IP but I can't 'cause 192.168.1.254 won't load up. What can I do? |

One method I use is to power it off and completely unplug it for a few hours, or overnight. Reboot the computer. When you switch it on again and it syncs it should have a new IP address.
I also can't get to the Siemens control panel any more. Very odd.
I guess I will buy a Linksys and be prepared for when the Siemens kicks the bucket.

instead of 192.168.1.254 or "gateway" (that won't work) try "gigaset"
i find using CTRL+o then gigaset or the ip works best.
