I'm selling a vehicle and the buyer is getting me a check from this credit union from that website. Does it look like something you can trust? The website quality is just lousy and somewhat unprofessional.

Check is coming tomorrow. Might be able to run to the bank to deposit... Hope it'll go through..?
Is that how it works?
A credit union member gets financing for a private sale automobile & the credit union gives its member a check that's made payable to the seller of the auto?
That's too weird.

 Yes, that's how my CU did it. It looks more credible as a check issued on the bank, and the money is good because they either issued you a loan or took it from your savings. Either way, a quick call to the bank when you get the check should sort it all out.
