I get these text messages all the time when I'm driving down one specific portion of the Niagara Parkway, and used to occasionally get them when I worked at an office close to the river.  This is why the whole story is nothing but FUD, and typical of the person who submitted it.  Rogers lets you know that you're roaming, and has a fee schedule clearly laid out on their website and available by calling in and asking.<br><br>One thing Rogers won't tell customers though is that they can log onto any US tower within 30 miles of the border and not be charged roaming fees.  This is so that people who are still on Canadian soil but logged on to a US tower don't have to worry about the fees.<br><small>--<br>I swear that I will faithfully and bear true allegiance to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second, Queen of Canada, Her Heirs and Successors, and that I will faithfully observe the laws of Canada and fulfil my duties as a Canadian citizen.</small>]]></description>
